Senior Software Engineer II

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute comprehensive test plans for LLM and agentic features to ensure clinical accuracy and safety
  • Perform adversarial, prompt injection, and RAG validation testing for robustness and reliability
  • Implement bias, fairness, and toxicity compliance checks using observability tools like Arize and Phoenix
  • Monitor model drift and performance trends, and generate auditable evidence for regulatory compliance
  • Prepare technical and compliance documentation for Legal AI Review Board submissions
  • Act as the quality gatekeeper, ensuring AI solutions meet patient safety, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements before production
  • Mentor junior team members on AI testing best practices and compliance frameworks
  • Define and track quality metrics, including accuracy, robustness, and compliance KPIs
  • Produce regular reports on AI model performance, drift, and compliance status for leadership and regulatory bodies
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so

Required Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years of experience in software quality engineering, with 1+ years in AI testing
  • Hands-on experience with adversarial testing, prompt injection, and RAG system validation
  • Experience preparing technical and compliance documentation for governance boards Knowledge of bias, fairness, and toxicity compliance checks using tools like Arize and Phoenix
  • Familiarity with regulatory and ethical standards for AI in healthcare
  • Solid expertise in AI/ML validation, including LLM and agentic feature testing
  • Proficiency in test automation frameworks, scripting (Python), and CI/CD integration
  • Proven ability to monitor model drift, analyze performance trends, and produce auditable compliance evidence
  • Demonstrated solid skills in metrics tracking, reporting, and quality dashboards
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor junior engineers and enforce best practices

Preferred Qualifications:

  • AI Dojo Certification or equivalent advanced AI training
  • Exposure to LLMs, agentic architectures, and AI observability tools
