Primary Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain RxClaim core adjudication components on IBM i (AS/400, iSeries) using Synon (CA 2E) and DB2/400
- Analyze business requirements related to pharmacy claims adjudication (pricing, accumulators, edits, DUR, rejects, reversals, adjustments) and translate them into robust technical solutions.
- Leverage GenAI-assisted development to improve velocity and quality (code suggestions, unit test generation, documentation, impact analysis); apply guardrails and enforce code-review standards
- Implement AIOps for observability (log/metric tracing, anomaly detection, auto-remediation runbooks) across batch jobs and adjudication workflows
- Develop and optimize complex SQL (queries, stored procedures, views, triggers) for DB2 for i; ensure data integrity and performance
- Collaborate with product owners, BA/QA, and RxClaim configuration teams; support SIT/UAT and coordinate deployments
- Conduct code reviews, peer mentoring, and contribute to standards, reusable patterns, and documentation
- Optimize performance at the application and database layers; leverage Visual Explain, indexing strategies, and query tuning on DB2 for i
- Ensure compliance with security, audit, and HIPAA/PHI handling requirements

Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years of IT experience on AS400 technologies
- Experience in RxClaim core adjudication area
- Demonstrated experience applying AI/automation in production (e.g., anomaly detection, ticket triage, fraud scoring, GenAI knowledge assistant) with measurable outcomes
- Hands on experience in DB2/400
- Solid knowledge on SQL
- Solid knowledge and hands on experience on SYNON
- Working knowledge of GenAI/LLM concepts: prompting, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), embeddings, guardrails, hallucination mitigation, and evaluation methods
- Familiarity with MLOps practices: experiment tracking, model/prompt versioning, CI/CD for models, monitoring, and rollback
- Proven ensuring timely deliveries for all assigned tasks
- Proven participation in Design reviews, Test Case reviews, and Production Support readiness reviews for new releases
- Proven support QA, UAT and Release phases of the project via defect analysis, change maintenance, etc.
- Proven to adhere to all quality requirements
- Proven ability to work independently
- Proven good communication and presentation skills
- Proven good attitude and self-motivated
- Adaptable to work in Evening SHIFT (11:30 am - 8.30 pm or 2:30 pm - 12:00 am )
