As a Senior Business Analyst Consultant, you will be empowered to support short and long term operational/strategic business activities; develop, enhance and maintain operational data and models that will have an impact on business decisions. In this role, you will have the opportunity to use your keen analytical skills to create valuable solutions to improve the health care system.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform analysis, review, forecast, and trending of complex data
• Own the development and maintenance of production and ad-hoc operational reports
• Present analysis and interpretation for operational and business review and planning
• Support short and long term operational/strategic business activities through Analytics
• Interact one-on-one and consult with all levels of leadership

Required Qualifications:

• Experience working with relational databases and database structures (such as SQL, Oracle, Teradata)
• Experience developing business intelligence/visualization software (preferably Power BI or Tableau)
• Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office (including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Demonstrated intermediate proficiency writing/developing SQL queries
• Proven excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to adapt in a challenging dynamic atmosphere
• Proven excellent critical thinking and problem problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree
• Experience with data manipulation software (such as Alteryx)
• Healthcare Industry experience (ideally in claims, management, and/or prior authorization data)
