As a Principal Data Analyst, you will be part of a healthcare product team; focused on developing and implementing methods to improve data generation, usage, and reliability. You will be a key team member, focused on developing foundational data-pipelines for downstream analytics and managing Customer analytics requirements.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Identify opportunities to drive incremental Analytics product value. Deliver technology and process improvements that bring application to deliver measurable benefits
  • Scope, design, build, test, and implement tactical and strategic solutions
  • Engage with stakeholders and provide insights and recommendations on process/system improvements that will support delivery and data strategy
  • Utilize SQL to create net new solutions, modify existing content, and distribute the data to users and other systems
  • Analyze customer reporting inventory and identify opportunities to consolidate, optimize, or decommission reports that are no longer needed
  • Drive the development, monitoring, review, and evaluation of new metrics, KPIs, key risk indicators, reports, and dashboards, utilizing data discovery techniques across complex data sets. Provide direction and design to strategic business
  • Use specialist tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker to present data in visual forms such as dashboards
  • Provide recommendations to the development team regarding query optimization
  • Team and project leadership as required

Required Qualifications:

With extensive experience in data analytics and engineering, including:

  • Proven solid SQL experience across multiple database technologies (e.g., Oracle, Snowflake, Microsoft SQL Server, DB2, Teradata, etc.)
  • Proven experience in data ETL and blending tools
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely to individuals and groups
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Excel and modern data visualization tools
  • Proven experience in data ETL and blending tools
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely in writing and orally to individuals and groups
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Excel and any Visualization tool
  • Proven hands-on experience developing data pipelines that demonstrate a solid understanding of software engineering principles

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven experience building data pipelines across AWS, Azure, or GCP, with a solid preference for Azure, following best practices in cloud native deployments
  • Demonstrated understanding of system hardening, and threat and vulnerability management
  • Demonstrated query optimization
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Visualization tool looker / Power Bi
  • Proven track record in delivering technology-driven solutions through full project life cycle
