Lead Voice Bot Developer/Technical Manager - AI/ML Engineering

We are seeking a Lead Developer to spearhead the design, development, and deployment of voice bot solutions tailored to business needs. This role demands a strategic thinker with hands-on technical expertise, capable of delivering end-to-end solutions in a dynamic, matrixed environment. The ideal candidate will collaborate across engineering and business teams, produce clear technical documentation, and drive innovation throughout the software development lifecycle.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Solution Architecture: Define and architect comprehensive voice bot solutions, proactively engaging with cross-functional teams throughout the project lifecycle
  • Documentation: Produce clear and concise documentation covering backend integrations, business logic, and technical specifications
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with development teams and business stakeholders to communicate design strategies and integration plans
  • Technical Design: Translate business requirements into scalable technical designs aligned with architectural standards
  • Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior developers, promoting engineering best practices and continuous learning
  • Software Development Lifecycle: Lead all phases including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, and deployment
  • Reusable Components: Design and implement reusable frameworks, components, and patterns to enhance team productivity and solution scalability
  • Voice Bot Development: Build and deploy voice bots using platforms such as Google Dialogflow, Amazon Lex, or equivalent cloud technologies
  • Subject-Matter Expertise: Act as the go-to expert for voice bot development, ensuring adherence to design and implementation best practices
  • DevOps Integration: Leverage CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code tools (e.g., Jenkins, Terraform) along with version control systems (e.g., GitHub) to streamline development workflows
  • Implementation Support: Provide occasional off-hours support for production deployments (no regular on-call duties)
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or equivalent
  • Experience in cloud-based voice bot platforms and Contact Center technologies
  • Hands-on expertise with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and source code repositories
  • Proven solid communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams
