Associate Software Engineer II

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with AI Architects, Cloud Engineers, and a CRM Development Team to design and implement machine learning models and systems
  • Work with GenAI models like Gemini, GPT4, as well as traditional machine learning models from the NLP/Deep Learning discipline
  • Retrain existing models and systems to ensure their accuracy and efficiency
  • Evaluate machine learning models and ensure they adhere to ethical standards
  • Stay current with the latest trends and technologies in machine learning and artificial intelligence
  • Provide technical support and guidance to the development team on machine learning-related issues
  • Troubleshoot any issues related to the machine learning systems and conduct regular system tests to ensure their functionality and efficiency
  • Document all procedures and systems related to the machine learning infrastructure for future reference and audits
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Computer Engineering from a recognized university with 3+ years of software engineering experience
  • Experience in any container management systems preferably Kubernetes or Openshift
  • Experience using Integrated Development Tools like IntelliJ, Eclipse, and Visual Studio, along with Source Control Systems such as Git
  • Proficiency in coding using technologies Java, Spring boot, Maven, JDBC, JavaScript, Node, Postman, Docker, Jenkins, Hibernate, Kafka
  • Knowledge of databases like MongoDB, SnowFlake, and MySQL
  • Willingness to quickly learn and apply good software development practices and patterns
  • Understanding of web services, including SOAP and REST standards, security models, integration patterns, and methods
  • Awareness of standard software engineering design patterns, object-oriented concepts, coding standards, and practices
  • Proven excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
  • Proven solid verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven attention to detail and the ability to work with others under time constraints to meet deadlines
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, Agile development environment
  • Proven ability to work independently or as part of a globally distributed team

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Developer Certification (Salesforce, Java, or similar)
  • US Healthcare Industry experience
  • Agile Central Rally experience
  • Experience or knowledge on ATDD approach and test automations
  • Cloud development familiarity
  • Azure, DataDog, Kibana, Saucelabs, Selenium
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Splunk and ServiceNow, as well as security tools like Sonar and CodeQL
