Associate AI or ML Engineer - Salesforce Developer

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deploy AI/ML models for real-time decision-making and automation
  • Design, develop, test, document, and deploy Salesforce solutions based on business needs
  • Integrate AI/ML solutions into Salesforce CRM to enable intelligent data retrieval, personalized recommendations, workflow automation, forecasting, scoring, and opportunity insights
  • Enhance Salesforce applications with advanced AI features using both native (Einstein/Einstein GPT) and external technologies (Python-based models or Azure/AWS ML services)
  • Build and optimize Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines using vector databases and Large Language Models (LLMs) for improved contextual understanding within Salesforce workflows
  • Extend platform functionality using Apex (Triggers/Classes), LWC, Aura Framework, Visualforce Pages, Apex APIs and web services
  • Create custom AI-powered automation solutions including Einstein Bots and bespoke bots for sales/service processes
  • Manage CI/CD processes with Git to ensure efficient deployment of updates
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and data teams to identify opportunities for impactful AI-driven enhancements in the Salesforce ecosystem
  • Ensure scalability, security/compliance (especially regarding sensitive customer data), reliability and performance of deployed models in production environments
  • Monitor model accuracy and relevance; continuously improve user experience through feedback loops
  • Stay current with advancements in generative AI (including transformers), enterprise-grade integrations/platforms/tools; evaluate applicability to organizational needs
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML, or a related field
  • Salesforce ADM 201 and PD1 certifications
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in Salesforce development and AI/ML engineering, with a focus on NLP and generative models
  • Experience establishing and supporting Salesforce Communities (Customer Community)
  • Proven experience with RAG architectures, vector databases (e.g., FAISS, Pinecone), and large language models (LLMs) such as GPT or LLaMA
  • Familiarity with MLOps tools and practices (e.g., MLflow, Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Solid background in Agile methodologies; experience working with distributed/offshore teams is a plus
  • Solid proficiency in Python and ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face)
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate AI systems with Salesforce CRM using APIs, Apex, or MuleSoft
  • Proven excellent communication skills; solid problem-solving abilities; ability to work both independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
