JOB TITLE: Architect

DUTIES: Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. Duties include: Designing of technical solutions, design patterns, and coding practices for medium to complex applications in a clustered environment; Collaborating with enterprise architects to create and update PEGA related best practices and business strategies; Designing and developing PEGA PRPC applications based on best practices and industry standards; Optimizing application performance by employing performance tuning methods and using system performance techniques and tools; Contributing to the formulation and implementation of PEGA best practice standards, components, and governance structures; Implementing a wide array of functionality from the creation of high quality user experiences to the development of complex case management requirements; Managing technical delivery, ensuring successful outcomes while collaborating with stakeholders, vendors, and technical subject matter experts; Providing technical oversight to development teams and work with the Technical Leads to resolve problems with software and develop solutions; Conducting code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards; Participating in project planning and estimation activities; and Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.

REQUIREMENTS: Employer will accept a Master's degree in Applied Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a Computer-related occupation. Position requires five (5) years of experience in the following:
* PEGA PRPC (Pega Rules Process Commander) platform 8.X, PEGA PRPC Mobile development framework, and PEGA Customer Service Framework;
* Java, J2EE, SQL, and web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or React/Angular;
* Development and implementation of PEGA and Java/J2EE applications ensuring high performance and scalability;
* Database applications such as REST, SOAP, Oracle, MFA, object-oriented design, and implementation;
* Architecting and managing solutions on both private and public cloud platforms;
* Solution architecture, technical architecture, and design and design patterns;
* US healthcare services industry; and
* Security, privacy, and regulation pertaining to PHI, PII, or similar concerns.
RATE OF PAY: $161,788- $209,790 / per year
