The Optum Oracle Health EHR Services team is building an innovative, comprehensive EHR services capability using the collective expertise of our clinical, consulting, delivery, technology, and operations teams. Our Center of Excellence is bringing together some of the greatest minds in the industry to further our mission of making the health system work better for everyone. The Optum EHR Services Millennium Core Analyst will support client partnerships to grow our emerging support service line. As a Millennium Core Analyst, you will serve as a liaison between end-users, project team members, and other resources while providing exemplary customer service and application support in their assigned solutions. In addition, you will manage logged incidents and support Millennium projects to ensure end users have the best possible experience. EHR Services team members will help position Optum as a center of excellence for application management services.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide support for projects surrounding event set hierarchy (ESH) configuration and PowerForms updates
  • Manage access, oversee user provisioning processes, and resolve portal-related issues to ensure secure and efficient system usage
  • Conduct audits and perform updates to system configurations, ensuring compliance with organizational standards and accuracy of data
  • Investigate and address escalated issues related to ESH functionality, add/update requests, configuration audits, PowerForms, access management, and portal performance
  • Own and manage Tier 2 support tickets through resolution, including root cause analysis and documentation of fixes
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting for Millennium Core applications (PowerChart, PowerForms, ESH, MPages, Discern Rules, etc.)
  • Coordinate with Tier 3 and vendor support teams for escalations and complex issues
  • Monitor system performance and proactively identify potential issues impacting clinical workflows
  • Maintain knowledge base articles and ticket resolution documentation for recurring issues
  • Support integration points between Millennium and ancillary systems (e.g., lab, pharmacy, radiology)
  • Validate and test build changes in non-production environments before deployment
  • Assist with change control processes, including impact analysis and risk mitigation for configuration updates
  • Provide support for Oracle Health (Millennium) applications including design, build, testing, and maintenance
  • Collaborate with end users to confirm any build changes in the supported systems
  • Identify system optimization and enhancement opportunities
  • Participate in implementation, upgrade, and enhancement projects
  • Provide support for application incidents, including rotations for 24/7 on-call coverage
  • Develop and maintain training materials
  • Facilitate communication with stakeholders from requirements to implementation
  • Build solid relationships with end users and business partners

Required Qualifications:

  • Degree: Associate, Bachelor, Master or 2+ years healthcare experience
  • 2+ years of experience in healthcare domain knowledge and system configuration
  • 1+ years of experience with ESH configuration
  • 1+ years of experience managing PowerForms and PowerChart updates
  • 1+ years of experience in access control and portal troubleshooting
  • Deep experience with Oracle Health (Millennium) solutions

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Oracle Health Millennium certification in Core or related modules
  • Experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools for ticket management
  • Experience with general Millennium workflows
  • Knowledge of HL7 interfaces and integration troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with Millennium security models and role-based access control
  • Proficiency with MS Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
  • Ability to script or automate repetitive tasks using CCL or other tools

Key Competencies:

  • Experience with user provisioning and audit processes
  • Experience supporting Millennium upgrades and domain migrations
  • Experience with virtualization and Citrix environments used for Millennium access
  • In-depth knowledge of Millennium EMR and support lifecycle
  • Understanding of Oracle Health reporting tools (DA2, CCL, Discern Analytics)
  • Solid time management, organizational, and prioritization skills
  • Consultative and collaborative style
  • Ability to build partnerships and influence across teams
