Role Overview
The Vice President of Procurement is a transformational executive leader responsible for scaling a world-class, digitally enabled procurement function within a fast-moving, global SaaS organization.
This role oversees Strategic Sourcing, Category Management, Procurement Operations, Travel, and the end-to-end Source-to-Pay (S2P) control environment, with primary focus on enterprise technology, hyperscale cloud infrastructure (GCP, Microsoft), ServiceNow and broader SaaS ecosystems, professional services, marketing, and corporate operations.

This leader will establish and execute a clear multi-year vision that positions procurement as a driver of margin expansion, capital discipline, and enterprise growth, earning broad executive alignment across Sales, Services, Marketing, IT & Operations, R&D, and Finance. This leader will also drive enterprise value through cloud economics optimization, consumption discipline, structured vendor rationalization, AI-driven analytics, supplier-backed innovation, and investment governance, tightly aligning procurement strategy to margin targets, GTM agility, product roadmap priorities, and private equity performance expectations.
First 12-18 Month Priorities
• Establish enterprise-wide spend visibility and analytics maturity, including enhanced reporting dashboards for executive leadership.
• Drive structured vendor portfolio rationalization and eliminate redundancy across major SaaS and services categories.
• Implement measurable savings, cost avoidance, and efficiency targets tied to margin improvement.
• Strengthen governance frameworks across Technology Approval, CapEx, and Renewal Governance.
• Modernize procurement technology and workflows, including CLM, intake-to-PO automation, and P2P system optimization (D365 / Oracle).
• Advance cloud cost transparency through FinOps partnership, commitment strategy optimization, and consumption discipline.
Essential Job Functions
• Develop and execute a global procurement strategy aligned to corporate financial, operational, and growth goals with explicit accountability for margin expansion and cost structure optimization.
• Lead transformation toward a digitally enabled, analytics-driven, enterprise procurement organization.
• Establish and execute a multi-year roadmap across procurement maturity, automation, AI-enabled analytics, and governance modernization.
• Oversee enterprise-wide strategic sourcing across major indirect spend categories, including hyperscale cloud infrastructure (GCP, Microsoft) & SaaS ecosystems, enterprise technology & software (including ServiceNow and adjacent platforms), professional & consulting service, marketing services, corporate services, and travel
• Drive total cost of ownership (TCO) optimization, multi-year commercial roadmapping, licensing strategy optimization, and supplier-backed innovation.
• Lead complex enterprise negotiations and executive-level supplier relationships across strategic technology providers.
• Deliver measurable savings targets and consumption optimization outcomes.
• Implement data-driven spend analytics to increase visibility and control, leveraging AI-enabled insights and predictive modeling where appropriate.
• Optimize vendor portfolio and eliminate redundancy.
• Modernize procurement policies, processes, and systems across the full Source-to-Pay control stack (intake, sourcing, contracting, PO, payment terms, and reporting).
• Support M&A activity including vendor due diligence, synergy identification, contract risk review, and post-acquisition integration.
Key Qualifications & Experience
• 15+ years of progressive procurement leadership experience.
• 7+ years in executive leadership roles.
• Experience in SaaS, technology, or cloud-based business strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated success managing $500M+ indirect spend portfolios.
• Experience leading procurement transformation and enterprise system implementation.
Expertise
• Strategic sourcing & enterprise negotiations
• Cloud economics and hyperscaler optimization (GCP, Microsoft), including commitment strategy management, FinOps alignment, consumption optimization, and multi-year commercial roadmapping.
• Professional services sourcing
• Vendor risk management, including partnership on third-party cyber risk oversight
• Spend analytics, AI-enabled reporting, and modern procurement technology platforms
• Source-to-Pay process design and control stack governance
Leadership Attributes
• Executive presence with ability to influence C-suite stakeholders and private equity sponsors.
• Strong financial acumen with demonstrated margin mindset and capital discipline orientation.
• Data-driven and highly analytical, with comfort translating analytics into executive insight.
• Proven change leader experienced in scaling globally distributed organizations.
• Collaborative and business-oriented, operating as a strategic enterprise partner rather than a transactional function leader.
• Demonstrated commitment to developing high-performing teams, building succession bench strength, and elevating procurement talent across regions.

The pay range for this position is $233,300 to $335,400. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and work location. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible to participate in a performance-based bonus plan and to receive restricted stock unit awards as part of total compensation.
