The Senior Director, Product Marketing for One View is a high visibility, critical leadership role responsible for defining and driving the global product marketing strategy for one of UKG's most strategic portfolios. Operating as a trusted partner to Product, Sales, Marketing, and Executive Leadership, this leader sets the narrative, shapes market direction, and ensures the portfolio is positioned for long term growth, differentiation, and customer impact.
This role requires a seasoned strategist who blends deep market acumen, executive presence, and organizational leadership. The Senior Director serves as the primary voice of the customer and market, translating insights into portfolio direction, commercialization strategy, and cross functional alignment.
Key Responsibilities
Portfolio Strategy & Market Leadership
• Own the end to end global product marketing strategy for the Global Payroll portfolio, including One View, ensuring alignment with UKG's overall product and business vision.
• Define and continuously evolve market segmentation, Ideal Customer Profiles (ICP), and persona frameworks to guide portfolio focus and GTM strategy.
• Lead market opportunity analysis, whitespace identification, and trend forecasting to inform strategic portfolio investments.
• Serve as the voice of the customer and market, elevating insights into executive and product leadership forums to influence roadmap and prioritization.
• Influence long-term product roadmap and portfolio prioritization through data-backed market insights.
• Own and drive key relationships with industry and market influencers.
Positioning & Messaging
• Establish and govern global positioning and messaging frameworks that clearly articulate value, differentiation, and outcomes.
• Drive portfolio-level differentiation strategies against competitors and parity solutions.
• Oversee development of executive-ready narratives that connect product capabilities to customer and business impact.
• Ensure consistency, scalability, and relevance of messaging across segments, regions, and GTM motions.
Product Commercialization
• Lead global launch strategy and execution, ensuring cross functional readiness and delivering measurable business impact.
• Partner with Pricing, Sales, and GTM teams to shape monetization, packaging, and tiering strategies aligned to market and customer value.
• Drive innovation in go to market models (e.g., product led, usage based, hybrid), identifying and scaling high performing approaches.
• Define and report on launch, adoption, and revenue impact metrics at the executive level.
Portfolio GTM Alignment
• Serve as a senior advisor to Product and Engineering, ensuring market needs translate into portfolio level requirements and prioritization.
• Partner with Portfolio Marketing to ensure tight alignment between product priorities, integrated campaigns, and investment strategy.
• Influence sales strategy and enablement through insight based recommendations, supporting revenue acceleration and customer engagement.
• Build and sustain strong alignment across Product, Sales, Marketing, Strategy, and global regional leadership teams.
People & Organizational Leadership
• Form a key member of the Global Payroll Senior Leadership Team.
• Lead and grow a high performing product marketing organization, building the next generation of product marketing leaders.
• Establish operating mechanisms, best practices, and excellence across product marketing for One View.
• Foster a culture grounded in accountability, customer empathy, data driven decision making, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
• 12-15+ years of experience in product marketing, product management, or related disciplines within SaaS/B2B environments.
• 5+ years of senior people leadership experience, including managing managers and scaling teams.
• Proven success owning portfolio-level marketing strategy with measurable GTM and revenue impact.
• Deep expertise in segmentation, positioning, competitive intelligence, and commercialization strategy.
• Strong executive presence with the ability to influence at the C-suite and Board level.
• Demonstrated ability to partner closely with Product and Engineering on strategy and prioritization.
• Experience operating in complex, global organizations with multiple GTM motions.
• HCM or workforce technology experience preferred; demonstrated ability to rapidly build domain expertise required.

The pay range for this position is $207,400 to $298,100, however, base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location. This position is also eligible for a short-term incentive and a long-term incentive as part of total compensation.
