UKG is looking for a Software Engineer III to join a team leading Platform capability for our Engineering organisation. You will build new and maintain existing capabilities in our public and private (on-premises) Cloud platforms. You and the team own our Cloud Experience for UKG. You will use building blocks, Go language, Terraform, Kubernetes, Github runner pipeline and work with on-premise infrastructure OpenStack, Rancher and Cloud services in Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Responsibilities:
• Manage, improve, and maintain our tools and services stack across the organisation and deliver value incrementally.
• Software Development with AI mindset: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code or various software applications and systems while collaborating with AI.
• Troubleshoot issues by reviewing information at hand, develop detailed implementation plan with automation and test details, and mentoring team members.
• Work on system upgrades like Kubernetes both on-prem and on GCP, istio upgrade, nginx upgrades, etc
• Collaborate with Engineering teams and unblock them by working on Service Requests

Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field, however equivalent work experience in similar position may be substituted for educational requirements.
• 4+ Experience working with container technologies like Kubernetes and Docker.
• 4+ Experience working with Linux/Windows.
• 4+ years of experience with at least one programming language e.g. Java/Golang/Ruby/Python,( Golang preferable ).
• 4+ years of experience working with automation tools and technologies Shell/ bash/Powershell , Ansible , Python , CI/CD pipelines.
