Description:
UKG Ready looking for a Product Manager with a passion for building practical, user-centered AI experiences - someone who's excited to guide the development of GenAI solutions powered by large language models (LLMs) from research to real-world impact.
This role sits at the intersection of product, engineering, and AI research. You'll help shape the roadmap for how we deliver value through capabilities like prompt orchestration, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), LLM evaluation, and scalable deployment - all while keeping users, ethics, and performance top of mind.
You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements, prioritize backlogs, run experiments, and track outcomes. This is a hands-on product management role where technical curiosity, strong communication, and user empathy are key.
Activities:
• Define and own the roadmap for GenAI product capabilities, collaborating closely with engineering and research teams
• Translate complex AI concepts (e.g., embeddings, prompting strategies, vector search, eval frameworks) into usable, testable product features
• Partner with stakeholders across engineering, product, UX, and other AI pillars within UKG on go-to-market plans to ensure a cohesive experience
• Identify opportunities for AI-native product features, prototypes, and improvements
• Run agile ceremonies including sprint planning, grooming, and demos
• Incorporate feedback from customer interactions, usability testing, and AI system behavior analysis
• Support internal education and evangelism around GenAI capabilities and best practices
• Contribute to evaluation criteria for LLM outputs, fine-tuning effectiveness, and retrieval performance
• Actively monitor performance, metrics, and error rates of GenAI components in production
