As Director, Sales - Mid-Market, you will lead a team of sales professionals responsible for organisations with 600-2,500 employees across diverse industries nationwide. You will own the Australian Mid-Market number - driving new business acquisition, expansion growth, and market share.

You will set the pace, lift performance standards, and build a disciplined, high-performing team focused on execution and results. Supported by strong pre-sales and sales operations functions, you will deliver predictable, sustainable year-on-year growth.

This role reports to the GVP Sales, APAC.

What You'll Own

  • Full revenue accountability for Mid-Market performance across Australia.
  • Consistent overachievement of annual new business and expansion targets.
  • A clear, high-impact go-to-market strategy tailored to the Australian market.
  • Strong pipeline coverage, disciplined deal inspection and forecast accuracy.
  • Executive engagement on strategic and competitive opportunities.
  • Increased UKG market share within the 600-2,500 employee segment.
  • Scalable, repeatable sales motions that drive sustainable growth.
  • A performance-led, customer-first culture aligned to UKG's values of United, Kind and Growing.

What Success Looks Like
  • Revenue targets met or exceeded with strong forecast predictability.
  • Improved win rates and deal velocity across the Australian Mid-Market.
  • Healthy pipeline coverage aligned to growth goals.
  • Strong executive relationships with key customers.
  • A high-performing, accountable and engaged team.
  • Clear competitive positioning and market momentum across Australia.

About You

Must Have
  • Proven track record leading high-performing sales teams with full revenue ownership.
  • Demonstrated success in complex, consultative B2B sales environments.
  • Experience selling to C-level executives.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a metrics-driven leadership style.
  • Confident executive presence with strong negotiation capability.
  • Based in Melbourne or Sydney.

Highly Regarded
  • SaaS leadership experience, ideally in WFM, HCM or Payroll.
  • Experience leading Mid-Market or Enterprise segments.
  • Strong capability in hiring, developing and scaling top sales talent.
  • Success operating within a matrixed global organisation.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
