Associate Manager Payroll Services

Key Responsibilities:
• Support the end-to-end processing of payroll for the region, ensuring all activities are accurate, timely, and compliant with applicable legislation.
• Assist in managing relationships with external payroll vendors and internal departments to support smooth payroll operations.
• Respond to payroll-related inquiries from clients and internal stakeholders in a professional and timely manner.
• Monitor payroll-related compliance obligations and escalate risks or discrepancies to the Payroll Manager.
• Collaborate with the team to maintain and improve standard operating procedures (SOPs) and documentation for payroll processes.
• Track and help report on payroll KPIs such as error rates, processing times, and customer satisfaction metrics.
• Participate in testing and validation activities for new payroll tools, systems, or automation initiatives.
• Support the Payroll Manager in identifying process improvement opportunities and implementing changes that enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Help train and onboard new team members on payroll systems and procedures.
• Assist in the preparation of reports, dashboards, and presentations related to payroll operations and client experience.
• Work with internal functions (Product, Transformation, Legal, Finance, etc.) to support operational integration and resolve routine issues.

Qualifications:
• 3-5 years of experience in payroll operations, preferably in an international or regional setting.
• Strong understanding of payroll processes and compliance requirements.
• Experience working with payroll systems and third-party vendors.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, HR, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Exposure to global payroll models, multi-country processing, or shared service environments is a plus.
• Comfortable working with spreadsheets, reporting tools, and basic data analysis.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn and grow into a leadership role over time.

The pay range for this position is 24,900.00€ to 33,550.00€. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and work location. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible to participate in a performance-based bonus plan and to receive restricted stock unit awards as part of total compensation.
