About the Role
As a Strategy & Planning Associate on the Delivery Restaurants team, you will play a key role in shaping our commercial strategy in Mexico. You will support senior decision-making through rigorous analysis and performance tracking, delivering clear, compelling narratives that help guide where the business goes next.
You will help define, structure, and drive high-impact strategic initiatives, working closely with commercial and operational partners to align priorities, accelerate execution, and ensure accountability for results.
This role combines strategic thinking, analytical depth, and strong communication skills. You will diagnose business performance, identify growth opportunities, and help set priorities based on impact and feasibility-contributing directly to business growth in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
What You'll Do
You will be part of the Delivery Restaurants Mexico team, leading strategy and planning efforts for Mid-Size Enterprise and Hero SMB restaurant segments.
- Strategy development and execution: Lead end-to-end strategic initiatives that drive business growth, with accountability for commercial segment performance.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Serve as a key connector across commercial, local, and central teams, ensuring alignment on strategy, execution pace, and project dependencies.
- Business intelligence and analytics: Design, build, and own dashboards and reporting frameworks to track critical KPIs, ensuring data integrity, clarity, and timely insights.
- Insights and communication: Translate complex analyses into clear, persuasive narratives and strategic recommendations. Communicate insights and project updates to senior stakeholders through high-quality presentations and written materials.
- Prioritization and problem solving: Own initiative prioritization and capital allocation decisions based on business impact and feasibility. Apply structured problem-solving to remove roadblocks and accelerate execution.
- Performance diagnosis: Monitor key business metrics across Mexico and other commercial segments, identify performance gaps, and implement strategic solutions to unlock growth.
What You'll Need
Basic Qualifications
We're looking for impact-oriented professionals with a strong analytical foundation and a proactive mindset.
- At least 3 years of experience in operations, strategy, analytics, or a related field.
- Demonstrated analytical skills, with proficiency in SQL and Excel or Google Sheets; Python is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish, with the ability to turn complex information into clear, actionable insights and executive-ready presentations.
Preferred Qualifications
- A proven track record of leading cross-functional projects and aligning stakeholders across teams such as operations, product, finance, and commercial.
- A bias for action and a passion for solving business problems that deliver measurable impact.
