Strategy and Operations Manager, Growth Bets

Yesterday Sydney, Australia

About the Role

The Growth Bets team is where Uber tests and scales bold new ideas, taking products from 0 to 1, then 1 to 100. From launching new account types for teenagers and seniors, to reimagining shared rides with Uber Pool, or piloting offerings for families or business travelers, we move fast to identify, test, and scale what's next.

As a Strategy and Operations Manager, you'll be the engine behind these launches in ANZ. You will own initiatives end-to-end, from problem definition and business case development to execution and post-launch optimisation - partnering with stakeholders across product, operations, marketing, and finance.

This role is ideal for someone with experience in strategy, consulting or investment banking who wants to be closer to execution in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. You'll apply your analytical toolkit in a dynamic, operator-led role where you'll see the tangible results of your work.

What You'll Do

- Design and run experiments to test new opportunities, then build and execute go-to-market plans for launches and campaigns

You have the ability to break down complex problems by applying structure and using data-driven insights, leveraging your strong Excel/Sheets skills (SQL proficiency preferred), and comfortable with making your own assumptions when there is no clear answer
- Product sense: You know what makes a product experience not just good, but amazing. You work cross-functionally with teams to create integrations that delight users and drive measurable impact
