Strategic Partnerships Manager, Uber Advertising
About the Role
As a Partnership Manager within the Uber Advertising team, you will be a key driver in the execution and day-to-day success of our 3rd-Party (3P) partnership strategy. This role is a hands-on, individual contributor position responsible for owning, managing, and scaling a portfolio of strategic partnerships critical to enhancing our ad products, technology, and inventory.
You will ensure that our existing 3P relationships deliver maximum value, while actively supporting the Partnerships Lead in the sourcing, scoping, and execution of new, high-impact deals. You will work cross-functionally across the organization to manage the lifecycle of your partners from contract to scaled operation.
What You'll Do:
Relationship Management & Scale
1. Own the end-to-end relationship and performance for a portfolio of existing key 3P partners, serving as the primary business contact post-launch. This includes managing relationships with key contacts and leadership within the partner organization.
2. Drive the steady-state management and scale of assigned partnerships, focusing on GTM execution, operational efficiency, revenue impact, and regular business reviews.
3. Lead routine strategic alignment and communication, including coordinating and leading joint business planning sessions to ensure clear roles, responsibilities, and strategic priorities across Uber and the 3P partner teams (e.g., Product, Sales, Operations).
4. Proactively identify and address performance bottlenecks, operational issues, and opportunities to deepen or expand current partner integrations.

5. Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to launch, test, and iterate on partner-enabled features and ensure technical integrations are maintained and optimized.
Sourcing & Execution Support
1. Actively support the Partnerships Lead in the sourcing, scoping, and negotiation of complex, high-impact new 3P deals for Uber Advertising.
2. Lead the initial implementation efforts for new partnerships, coordinating closely with technical, product, and business stakeholders through launch.
3. Manage operational escalations and necessary deal amendments for your assigned partners.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
1. Work closely with a large number of cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, Sales, Strategy, Legal, Privacy, and Finance to ensure partner success and compliance.
2. Facilitate clear communication and collaboration between Uber's internal teams and their respective counterparts within the 3P partner organization.
3. Provide detailed updates and performance readouts on assigned partnerships to the Ads Leadership Team and other internal stakeholders.
Basic Qualifications:
- 5+ years' experience in strategic partnerships, business development, or account/partner management, preferably within the advertising space
- Strong working knowledge of the advertising ecosystem, including ad products, ad tech integrations, and the media landscape
- Technical acumen with the ability toengage and influence a variety of stakeholders, including Product, Engineering, and Sales teams, to drive partnership outcomes via data
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience leading deals end to end with prominent partners in the advertising space
- Partnership experience in one or more of the following areas:
- DSPs
- Demand generation and channel sales
- Supply
- Data
For Chicago, IL-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$146,000 per year - USD$162,000 per year.
For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$162,000 per year - USD$180,000 per year.
For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$162,000 per year - USD$180,000 per year.
For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp.
