Strategic Operations Associate, Uber for Business

About the Role

We're looking for a Strategic Operations Associate to help us scale Uber for Business, one of the most exciting and fastest growing business units at Uber.

In this role, you will join the Consumer Operations pod of the U4B Central Operations team. You will have the opportunity to design and execute end-to-end user growth and engagement strategies including incentives, CRM, experience enhancements, loyalty benefits, and membership. You will partner with cross-functional counterparts in marketing, operations and customer support operations. And you will deliver analysis that will inform strategic decision-making.

This is a hybrid role - our team collaborates in-person out of our incredible office in New York City 3 days/week. We encourage our employees to work from our office on additional days if they desire to do so.

What You'll Do

• Design, test and scale end-to-end user growth and engagement strategies, including incentives, CRM and experience enhancements
• Harness your analytical skills to uncover actionable insights that shape strategy and drive decision-making. Present your insights to relevant stakeholders
• Drive cross-functional execution, working closely with Product, Marketing, Customer Support and Finance to deliver impactful outcomes
• Manage incentive campaign reporting across regions to track incremental Gross Bookings and trips impact, ROI and actual spend vs. budget

• 2-4 years of experience in a strategy, operations, analytics or project/program management role
• Analytical thinker, with experience using data to drive business decisions
• Proficiency in SQL and Excel or Google Sheets
• Strong organization and project management skills, including ability to prioritize and lead multiple projects and processes simultaneously
• Bachelor's degree

• Experience developing and deploying promotional campaigns
• Strong business acumen, with experience evaluating a line of business and understanding how to drive growth
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, with experience presenting to senior leaders
• Skilled in synthesizing information quickly to distill key takeaways, and to weave insights into a compelling story that clarifies and inspires
• Experience building deep relationships with cross-functional stakeholders, anticipating their concerns and successfully advocating for your priorities
• Comfort addressing ambiguity, for example, shifting priorities or unfamiliar problems
