About the Role

You will join Uber Eats' high-growth UK Retail team, supporting our Grocery, Retail and Convenience partners to scale performance through data-driven insights and operational excellence.

This role sits within the Account Management team and works in close partnership with Account Managers to drive merchant growth, improve operational health and unlock new opportunities using analytics and structured problem-solving.

You will use SQL and Google Sheets to build analyses, develop growth plans and translate data into clear recommendations for both internal stakeholders and merchant partners. This is a fast-paced, collaborative role with multiple live projects and continuous exposure to strategic and operational initiatives.

What You'll Do:

- Build and maintain the source of truth for the UK Retail team by writing and optimizing complex SQL queries to create datasets, dashboards, and performance reports that drive merchant growth.

- Navigate through massive, messy datasets using Google Sheets and Tableau to identify hidden performance gaps in merchant reliability, such as cancellations and fulfillment Quality of Service.

- Scale the impact of the Account Management team by designing repeatable reporting frameworks and documentation templates that automate routine insights and allow for high-velocity decision-making.

- Lead strategic conversations with both internal stakeholders and external merchant partners, turning raw data into compelling, actionable recommendations that improve commercial outcomes.

- Solve complex operational challenges at the intersection of digital systems and real-world logistics, ensuring that merchant growth plans are rooted in the reality of our marketplace dynamics.

What You'll Need:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong proficiency in SQL for writing and editing queries.
- Experience working in Account Management, Customer Success, Operations or Analytics roles.
- Strong skills in Excel / Google Sheets, including pivot tables, lookups, charts, and dashboards.
- Experience working with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills and confidence presenting data and insights.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Solid business acumen and problem-solving mindset.
- Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience in grocery, retail, e-commerce, or marketplace environments.
2. Ability to present data in a visually clear and compelling way.
3. Familiarity with Uber's business model and performance metrics.
4. Experience building growth plans or performance strategies using insights.
