About the Role

The Strategic Initiatives team is responsible for identifying, designing, and executing high-impact initiatives that unlock growth and operational excellence for Uber. This role will lead Vehicle Access strategy in Argentina, addressing one of the market's most critical challenges: fleet aging and limited access to suitable vehicles.

The role will focus on developing and executing partnerships, programs, and commercial solutions that improve vehicle supply quality while enabling Uber for Business (U4B), our B2B line of business.

What the Candidate Will Do

Vehicle Access Strategy

  • Own and drive the vehicle access strategy for Argentina, with a focus on improving fleet age, availability, and quality.
  • Design and launch initiatives that expand access to vehicles through partnerships, financing models, leasing, or other innovative solutions.

Partnerships

  • Identify, negotiate, and manage strategic partnerships with OEMs, dealerships, fleet owners, financial institutions, and other ecosystem players.
  • Build scalable partnership models that deliver value to drivers, Uber, and partners.

Uber for Business (U4B) Enablement

  • Collaborate with U4B, Operations, and Product teams to ensure vehicle access solutions support B2B use cases.
  • Enable fleet solutions that meet the needs of corporate customers, including reliability, vehicle standards, and scalability.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Work closely with Operations, Legal, Finance, Policy, Product, and Regional teams to design and execute initiatives.
  • Act as a single-threaded owner for key projects, driving alignment and execution across stakeholders.

Analytics & Execution

  • Use data to size opportunities, evaluate trade-offs, measure impact, and iterate on solutions.
  • Build business cases, track KPIs, and communicate progress and results to senior leadership.

Basic Qualifications

  • 8+ years of relevant experience in strategy, operations, partnerships, consulting, corporate development, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into clear insights and decisions.
  • Proven experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives from concept to execution.
  • Demonstrated stakeholder management skills, including influencing senior leaders and external partners without direct authority.
  • Experience building and managing commercial partnerships and negotiating win-win agreements.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to clearly articulate strategy and execution plans.
  • High ownership mindset, comfortable operating in ambiguous and fast-changing environments.
  • English proficiency required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in mobility, automotive, fintech, or marketplace businesses.
  • Exposure to B2B products or enterprise customers.
  • Experience working in or with Latin American markets, especially Argentina.
