About the Role

The Dark Grocery team is responsible for piloting, launching, and scaling dark stores across Taiwan. As a Store Manager, you will play a critical role in driving the success of this new line of business from day one.

You will operate at the ground level of a brand-new business model, owning day-to-day operations while helping define scalable processes and standards. This role is ideal for an operations leader who thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and is excited to build something from the ground up with the potential to scale rapidly.

What You Will Do

Warehouse Operations

• Oversee daily warehouse operations, including inbound receiving, restocking, and pick-and-pack fulfillment

• Ensure a consistently high-quality and reliable customer delivery experience

Team Management

• Recruit, train, and manage a team of warehouse associates

• Schedule shifts, provide ongoing coaching and feedback, and foster a high-performing team culture

Inventory Control

• Manage inventory accuracy through regular physical counts

• Own wastage and shrinkage processes to maintain high on-shelf availability

Compliance & Safety

• Enforce standard operating procedures related to safety, legal compliance, documentation, and administrative requirements

Facility Maintenance

• Maintain the physical condition of the warehouse, including equipment inspections

• Coordinate repairs, cleaning, and maintenance as needed to ensure operational readiness

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven experience in warehouse operations or management

• Experience leading, training, and developing teams in warehouse or shift-based environments

• Fluency in Traditional Chinese (reading, writing, and speaking)

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in Grocery or FMCG retail, with hands-on exposure to fresh items or perishables

• Self-starter mindset with the ability to thrive in ambiguity and fast-paced, startup-like environments

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional partners

• Demonstrated experience optimizing warehouse efficiency to meet aggressive operational and financial targets
