Sr Strategy & Planning Associate
About the Role
The Onboarding Center of Excellence (CoE), part of the Delivery Commercial Operations (DCO) team, is seeking a Strategy & Planning Analyst to help shape data-driven decision-making and strategic direction for global merchant onboarding performance. This role provides deep analytical support for program planning and translates complex data into actionable strategies that influence regional and global initiatives.
At the intersection of global strategy, data, and commercial execution, this role partners closely with DCO analytics teams, Regional Operations, Commercial Teams, and cross-functional stakeholders (including Engineering, Product, Finance, and Compliance) to guide prioritization and identify opportunities to improve the global onboarding process. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical capabilities, data fluency, and a strategic mindset to design scalable reporting, deliver executive-level insights, and ensure execution aligns with the CoE's strategic goals.
What You'll Do
1. Global Single Source of Truth (SOT) Development & Infrastructure Data Platform Partnership:
Act as the technical and business lead for the CoE, partnering with data platform and engineering teams to design, build, and maintain the Global Onboarding Data Single Source of Truth (SOT). Metric Governance:
Define, standardize, and formalize global onboarding metrics (including time in funnel, conversion rates, and related KPIs) to ensure consistent definitions, data quality, and reliable reporting.
Reporting Suite:
Design and implement a tiered dashboard strategy (e.g., Tableau) tailored to different audiences (Executive, Regional Operations, Commercial Teams) to provide clear, consistent, and actionable global performance visibility.
2. Impact Measurement & Project Analytics Analytical Frameworks:
Embed structured analytical frameworks into all CoE initiatives by defining OKRs, KPIs, baselines, and targets at the start of each project. Experimentation & Measurement:
Design and execute robust measurement methodologies (e.g., A/B testing, pre-post analysis) to assess execution quality, operational impact, and financial ROI of process, policy, and system changes driven by the CoE.
3. Strategic Insights Cadence
Strategic Reporting:
Own the regular delivery of high-quality analytical reporting that reviews global metrics, highlights emerging trends, and identifies operational bottlenecks based on the SOT. Insights Leadership:
Establish and lead the CoE's strategic insights cadence and global forums. Translate complex data into clear, compelling narratives that inform global strategy, roadmap prioritization, and decision-making.
Basic Qualifications

At least 5 years of experience in Business Analytics, Data Science, Commercial Operations, or Strategy & Planning, ideally focused on complex funnels, supply chain operations, or customer/merchant lifecycle management.

Advanced SQL skills for complex data manipulation. Proven experience designing, building, and maintaining reporting dashboards (e.g., Tableau) and working with large-scale data warehouses.
- Strategic Communication:
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex analytical findings into clear insights and influence stakeholders across global and regional teams.
- Project Management:
Demonstrated ability to manage analytical timelines and cross-functional deliverables using collaboration tools such as Slack, Asana, or JIRA.
- Mindset:
Strategic thinker with a proactive approach and focus on driving measurable business outcomes.
- Language:

Experience with Spark, Python, R, or similar languages for statistical analysis and automation. Familiarity with ETL processes and CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce data structures) is a plus.
