What the Candidate Will Do:

We are looking for a Senior Program Manager, Technical, to join Uber's Uber Engineering & Science Office to help support our Leadership team. Reporting to the Chief of Staff for Engineering & Science, you will partner with senior executives to execute operational processes, solve complex challenges, and be a force multiplier across the organization.

Program Managers move fluidly from thinking about big picture solutions to nailing the small details so the team can seamlessly deliver on strategic cross-functional projects, often with tight deadlines. You are a bridge and a connector for the team contributing to high-impact, high-visibility projects that keep us moving forward.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 6 years experience as a program manager with direct experience managing business operations, headcount resources and financial budgets for a technical organization.
  • Google Suite including sheets and presentation creation skills.
  • Experience analyzing large amounts of data and driving insights for leadership from data trends.
  • Experience driving process, reporting and visualization improvements through technology improvements.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with exceptional emotional intelligence
  • Ability to influence and motivate people across a variety of job functions and levels through relationship management
  • Superior organizational skills with the ability to juggle many tasks without losing sight of the highest priority items
  • Ownership. Strong bias towards action. You drive end-to-end results and are always thinking ahead
  • Obsessive attention to detail and you are constantly looking for ways to tweak and optimize for better results.
  • Continue to drive towards resolution even in ambiguous situations

For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$162,000 per year - USD$180,000 per year.

For Seattle, WA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$146,000 per year - USD$162,000 per year.

For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. You will also be eligible for various benefits. More details can be found at the following link https://www.uber.com/careers/benefits.
