Sr Operations & Strategy Associate, LatAm Electrification
About the Role
At Uber, we believe that electrification is a platform shift that will reshape our next chapter. This role joins the Global Electrification team to build and scale programs to grow EV adoption in LatAm. You will be responsible for managing end-to-end programs focused on our supply partners, onboarding and conversion programs, and our sustainable products portfolio.
What the Candidate Will Do
- Execute and Iterate: Implement the regional electrification strategy, driving adoption of EVs
- Build and run programs aimed at lowering EV ownership costs
- Manage and expand Electric products portfolio in the region
- Partner Coordination: Manage partnerships with key external stakeholders, including EV OEMs, charging infrastructure providers, and fleet operators.
- Program Management: Design and maintain systems to track various EV programs, ensuring high-quality execution and timely milestones.
- Cross-Functional Alignment: Work closely with Finance, Product, Business Development, and CommOps to align on task-level priorities and ensure project completion.
- Metric Ownership: Monitor and report on key performance metrics, escalating risks to timelines or operations to senior leadership.
Basic Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in Operations, Consulting, Strategy based roles.
- Proficiency in English and [Spanish or Portuguese]
- High ownership and agency: Ability to proactively identify opportunities, take initiative, and drive work forward independently in fast-moving environments.
- Executional Excellence: Proven ability to handle multiple tasks in parallel and ensure work is completed accurately and on time.
- Creative Problem Solving: Ability to scope novel problems and propose actionable recommendations that consider business tradeoffs.
- Stakeholder Management: Experience building productive relationships with immediate team members and functional peers to gain buy-in for projects and initiatives.
- Domain Passion: A deep interest in the energy transition. While we only require a basic understanding of EVs, you must have the curiosity and drive to become an expert in the challenges and opportunities of electrification.
- Data-Driven Execution: Proficiency in SQL and data analysis to monitor program health and suggest efficiency gains.
- Planning & Organization: Ability to create project plans with milestones, and clear ownership for straightforward workstreams.
