---- What the Candidate Will Do ----

1. Build and maintain fullstack features for internal payments and commerce tools used across Uber.
2. Develop intuitive, performant user interfaces while partnering with backend systems and APIs.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional partners to deliver well-scoped projects from design through production.
4. Write clean, well-tested code and participate in code reviews to maintain high engineering standards.
5. Learn and grow within Uber's engineering ecosystem while contributing to team-level technical decisions.

---- Basic Qualifications ----

1. Experience building production-ready web applications using JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks such as React.
2. Hands-on experience developing backend services or APIs using one or more general-purpose programming languages.
3. Solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals, including data structures, APIs, testing, and debugging.

---- Preferred Qualifications ----

1. Experience working as a fullstack engineer, owning features across frontend and backend.
2. Familiarity with internal tools, admin platforms, or enterprise-facing applications.
3. Exposure to distributed systems, data-driven applications, or high-reliability domains (e.g., payments, finance, commerce).
4. Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with product managers, designers, and other engineers.
