SMB Account Manager, Uber Eats, Poland

As an Account Manager for our SMB (Small and Medium Business) restaurant partners in Poland, you won't just be a point of contact-you'll be a strategic growth partner in a market that moves with relentless speed.
This role is about more than just maintaining accounts; it's about ownership and grit. You will be responsible for the success of our highest-value partners, requiring you to stay calm under pressure and make smart decisions with imperfect information. The work is messy, the stakes for our partners are high, and the pace is fast. You will need to balance operational precision with aggressive revenue growth, often navigating competing priorities across different teams. What You'll Do
- Build and scale long-term partnerships with Poland's SMB merchants, moving beyond transactional support to become a trusted advisor for their business.
- Navigate ambiguity and internal complexity to unlock value for both our partners and Uber, ensuring they thrive on our platform.
- Identify and execute growth opportunities by upselling marketing solutions (Ads, promotions) that align with the specific needs of your restaurant partners.
- Own your portfolio end-to-end, monitoring merchant KPIs and conducting business reviews to provide data-driven recommendations that prevent churn.
- Collaborate across disciplines-including Operations, Marketing, and Product-to resolve blockers and shape the merchant experience at scale.
- Lead through tension, managing difficult conversations with partners and negotiating outcomes that create mutual value.
- Drive with urgency and discipline, managing your pipeline and portfolio with a constant focus on measurable impact and excellence.

Basic Qualifications
- Experience with account management, sales, or similar partner-facing functions (typically achieved through 3+ years of professional experience).
- Native or business fluency in Polish and English.
- Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, with the ability to use data to inform business judgment.
- Experience managing high-value accounts and meeting or exceeding business targets or quotas.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior domain knowledge working within the technology, food delivery, or e-commerce sectors in the Polish market.
- Demonstrated track record of customer centricity, value creation, and managing multiple stakeholders with conflicting priorities.
- Strong systems thinking and the ability to build robust frameworks for solving recurring partner challenges in high-ambiguity environments.
