SMB Account Executive, Uber for Business
About the Role
Sales at Uber for Business (U4B) means navigating ambiguity, earning trust fast, and solving problems that don't come with a script. It's not about pushing a product-it's about building long-term partnerships in a fast-changing environment. If you're resilient, resourceful, and energized by the messy reality of doing big things-this is where you'll grow.
As an Account Executive within the U4B SMB team in Brazil, you are at the forefront of our growth engine. You won't be following a polished corporate manual; instead, you'll be out in the market, prospecting and closing deals in a high-speed environment where the answers aren't always clear. This role is for someone who thrives on ownership and is excited by the challenge of managing a high volume of prospects while maintaining the grit needed to turn a "no" into a "yes."
This is a hybrid role-our team collaborates in person out of our office in Sao Paulo at least 3 days/week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday).
What You'll Do
- Drive New Business: Prospect, pitch, and close the newest products in the U4B portfolio, targeting decision-makers across diverse SMB industries in Brazil.
- Manage the Hustle: Navigate high-volume outreach and pipeline management with urgency, keeping the momentum moving even when things get messy.
- Solve Real Problems: Listen to customer pain points and move quickly to offer practical solutions, ensuring our B2B tools help their businesses move better.
- Own Your Numbers: Take full accountability for your bi-annual and quarterly targets, managing your pipeline within Salesforce with discipline and clarity.
- Collaborate at Speed: Work cross-functionally with operations and product teams to share feedback from the field and help resolve blockers for your clients.
- Adapt and Grow: Stay resilient through tough negotiations and shifting priorities, using every challenge as an opportunity to sharpen your sales skills.
- Build the Foundation: Help write the playbook for a growing line of business by creating trackers and playbooks that help the team scale.
