Senior Strategy & Operations Manager, Reserve & Venues
About the Role
Be part of the team turning Uber's mobility strategy into reality for high-value rider use cases across EMEA. Reserve lets riders pre-book reliable trips for critical moments; Venues focuses on delivering a 5-star on-ground experience at key locations such as stations, major attractions & events.
You will own the end-to-end performance of these use cases across the region. In the first phase of the role, you will spend the majority of your time (~80%) ramping up on Reserve to become the EMEA subject-matter expert, before gradually expanding your remit across the Venues portfolio.
What the Candidate Will Do:
1. Own Reserve's Performance & Growth: Learn the ins and outs of the product while monitoring and actioning on performance to offer riders peace of mind on their most critical trips.
2. Ensure we offer 5 Star Experiences at Key Venues: You'll focus on improving the on-ground experience at key touristic venues (i.e. Train Stations, Hotels, events and other Points of Interest) via operational changes, product deployments & MP monitoring
3. Work with a first-class team: You will work closely with product, regions, marketing and support to align initiatives that optimize and create a best-in-class experience for riders.
4. Solve complex problems: You will monitor and analyze performance and marketplace metrics, turning insights into clear actions for cross-functional partners.
5. Keep customers top of mind: You will be customer-obsessed - Understanding potential pain-points and opportunities-to-delight customers (by analyzing internal and external data) will be key to ensure you exceed our riders expectations and deliver a magical customer experience.
6. Coordinate different stakeholders: You will produce high impact materials. You will develop high impact presentations, drawing recommendations and presenting results to stakeholders and high-level management.
7. Execute in a fast paced environment: You will address operational needs to ensure an efficient go-to-market for initiatives, support implementations, test-fail-reiterate, etc.
What the Candidate Will Need:
1. 5+ years of professional experience in strategy, operations, consulting, product ops or program management (or equivalent), ideally in a multi-country or central/HQ role.
2. Excellent stakeholder management (both internally and externally) and ability to lead cross-functional teams
3. Strong analytical skills; comfortable working with large datasets, building dashboards and making decisions with imperfect information (SQL and data visualisation tools strongly preferred).

6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; able to simplify complex topics and drive alignment with senior audiences.
---- Preferred Qualifications ----
1. Experience in marketplaces, consumer tech, mobility, travel or hospitality.
2. Familiarity with scheduled/pre-booked services or other high-stakes journeys (e.g. airports, events, corporate travel, tourism).
3. Experience operating across multiple EMEA countries and cultures.
