Senior Strategic Partnerships Manager, Uber Grocery, UK

About the Role

The UK Grocery and Retail team is one of the largest Grocery & Retail team and a meaningful contributor to the total UK Delivery business. We report into a global Grocery & Retail org with dedicated product, operations and strategy support and have been identified as a key growth lever for Uber globally in our earnings reports.

You will lead the account management of one or more of our key strategic grocery partners, driving success metrics across commercial, operational and product needs.

What You'll Do

- Lead the commercial relationship for one of Uber Eats' top retail merchants by managing Joint Business Plans (JBPs) and executing the commercial strategy through regular weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews.
- Partner closely with catalog and operations teams to deliver a strong consumer experience, and collaborate with global teams to implement best practices.
- Develop and execute plans to improve operational performance and create promotional strategies tailored to each merchant's needs.
- dentify opportunities and provide solutions to merchants by promoting Ads and Direct Benefits offerings.
- Oversee financial processes to support sustainable and profitable operations, including invoicing and managing overdue accounts.

What You'll Need

- At least 5 years of experience in sales, account management, sales manager or any other related field.
- Experience in sales or trade marketing within consumer goods companies, retailers, and/or technology companies, with strong analytical, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across internal and external teams (e.g., Legal, Marketing, Operations).
- Data-driven mindset with strong analytical capabilities to identify, quantify, and act on business opportunities.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal).
