Senior SMB Account Executive (Automotive Vertical), Uber for Business

About the Role

Uber for Business is looking for a sharp, results-oriented SMB Account Executive to join our newly formed Automotive team. In this role you will take ownership of building new business pipeline, forecasting opportunities, and constructing account plans to achieve your quota.

SMB Account Executives work closely with internal partners and cross-functional teams to strategize and create compelling solutions that help customers achieve their business goals. You'll leverage your deep understanding of how automotive dealerships operate and the priorities that drive decisions in order to uncover business initiatives and challenges to map back to our solutions.

If you're a self-starter and take initiative to seize opportunities, this team is evolving every day and requires highly motivated individuals who are responsible for all aspects of business in their market.

Our team collaborates in-person out of our office in Toronto on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. We encourage our employees to work from our office on additional days if they desire to do so.

1. Creatively prospect into the top automotive dealerships within Canada

2. Communicate the value of the Uber for Business product suite to prospects with a consultative and solution oriented approach
3. Lead and coordinate end to end sales motion including qualification, education, presenting proposals, and contract negotiation to close deals
4. Provide pipeline status to leadership by regularly updating SFDC
5. Achieve and consistently exceed sales goals
6. Partner cross-functionally with internal departments to ensure a successful onboarding, launch, and long-term success of our clients programs

Basic Qualifications

1. 1+ years experience in a B2B full quota carrying sales cycle role: prospecting, pitching & closing
2. Requires travel at least 1 week per month

Preferred Qualifications

1. 1+ years BDR/SDR experience (Lead Generation Experience)
2. Proven success of achieving sales quota targets
3. Work experience in one or more of the following industries: Technology (SaaS) Internet, IT Services, Computer Software, Leisure and Hospitality (Corporate Level or Enterprise/MM Experience)
4. Experience working cross-functionally with internal/customer teams (e.g., Legal, Marketing, Operations)
5. Bachelor's degree
