Senior Sales Operations Associate, Uber Direct, EMEA

4 days ago London, United Kingdom

About the Role

Uber Direct is changing how the world moves things by allowing merchants to use Uber's courier network for their own websites and apps. It's a high-growth, high-stakes environment where we are building the playbook as we fly. As a Senior Sales Operations Associate, you aren't just "supporting" a team; you are the engine that keeps the EMEA Direct organization running.

This role is for someone who thrives at the intersection of sales, operations, and systems. It's not always polished-you'll be digging into complex CRM data, navigating the tension between global strategy and local EMEA needs, and unblocking hurdles in real-time. We need a partner who has the grit to optimise processes, the curiosity to find the "why" behind the numbers, and the ownership to hold our commercial teams accountable. If you prefer a slow pace and predictable days, this isn't the role for you. But if you want to see your work directly impact the growth of a global business, let's ride.

What You'll Do

  • Navigate the complexity: Act as the primary gatekeeper for CRM and pipeline hygiene, ensuring that opportunity management is accurate even when the pace is fast
  • Unblock the Team: Serve as a point of contact for the EMEA sales team to resolve tool-related issues, deal desk hurdles, or policy questions that slow them down.
  • Build the Rhythm: support the operating cadence for the region, preparing the data and narrative for weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews (QBRs).
  • Find the Signal: Build and maintain core dashboards in Salesforce and Google Sheets that help leadership understand regional health at a glance.
  • Lead Through Influence: Partner cross-functionally with Finance, HR, and Global Ops to ensure EMEA's unique challenges are heard and solved in global workflows.
  • Architect Better Ways of Working: Identify friction in our sales motion and design new workflows or SQL-driven insights that reduce manual "grunt work" for our sellers.
  • Predict the Future: Identify gaps in the forecast and proactively surface risks to the leadership team before they become problems.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or a similar analytical role.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce (CRM) with a strong understanding of sales lifecycle management.
  • Expert-level skills in Google Sheets or Excel (you can build complex models and dashboards).
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across different levels.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in SQL to extract and manipulate raw data for deeper insights.
  • Experience working in a high-growth SaaS environment or a fast-paced technology company.
  • Experience navigating a matrixed, global organization (working across time zones and regional nuances).
  • A "systems-thinking" mindset-the ability to see how a change in one process affects the entire sales funnel.

Uber's mission is to reimagine the way the world moves for the better. Here, bold ideas create real-world impact, challenges drive growth, and speed fuelds progress. What moves us, moves the world - let's move it forward, together.
