Senior Program Manager, UKI Compliance Systems
About the Role
Reporting into the Actioning & Compliance Support - UKI team, this role owns and evolves the control systems that safeguard UKI driver document compliance at scale. You will design and implement scalable, automation-enabled workflows that balance regulatory integrity, operational efficiency, and driver experience in a high-volume, high-stakes environment. You will require hands-on regulatory judgement, operational control design, and the ability to operate in live, high-risk environments.
Key objectives -
You will be accountable for ensuring driver documentation workflows meet evolving UK regulatory requirements (e.g., TfL standards), while scaling automation and BPO operations without increasing compliance risk.
1. Define and implement risk-tiered document control frameworks aligned to the prevailing norms/ regulations in the UK
2. Reduce material compliance risk through scalable workflow design and automation guardrails
3. Establish docs processing standards and execute on Reg Ops policy/ vision for docs compliance
4. Embed audit-ready, defensible controls into document approval processes
What you'll do
01. Architect and evolve risk-based document approval workflows, defining where automation applies, where human review is required, and what guardrails and fallback mechanisms protect against material compliance exposure
02. Rollout & optimize doc approval tech solutions (auto-transcription, auto-fetch, auto-adjudication)
03. Design scalable quality control frameworks across BPO partners, including risk-tiering logic, communication channels/ escalation pathways, and performance levers aligned to regulatory severity
04. Own audit readiness and remediation tracking
05. Manage program milestones, deliverables, and timelines
06. Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure requirements are understood and met
07. Track key metrics and communicate progress to XFN partners
08. Identify blockers, assess impact, and drive resolution
09. Maintain documentation and ensure smooth handoffs to partner teams
10. Partner with Program Managers & Program Specialists and cross-functional teams to advance programmatic and operational goals while fostering continuous improvement
Basic Qualifications
01. Experience designing or operating compliance control environments in regulated industries
02. Demonstrated ability to translate regulatory requirements into scalable operational systems/ processes/ workflows
03. Strong analytical capability (e.g., SQL or equivalent) with comfort in modelling risk and performance trade-offs
04. Experience implementing automation in risk-sensitive workflows while balancing user experience and compliance requirements
05. Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating complex ideas clearly and persuasively
06. Ability to navigate a complex stakeholder environment and lead key initiatives in a cross-functional organization
07. Brings 5-8 years of experience in technology, consulting, operations, or similar agile, project-based environments, showing significant impact.
08. Demonstrates leadership through vision, excellence, and the ability to inspire trust and collaboration.
09. Committed to quality, customer-first thinking, and continuous personal and professional development.
10. Skilled in data-driven decision-making, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
11. Proven track record in operational excellence, program/ project management, and stakeholder management.
12. Resilient, positive, and deeply customer-focused.
Preferred Qualifications
1. Experience includes Customer Support, Automation, and/or Design Thinking.
2. Knowledge of SQL enables you to leverage data more effectively in your decision-making process.
3. Experience in audit remediation or regulator-facing programs
4. Background in Trust & Safety, Risk, Compliance Ops, or regulated marketplace platforms
