Senior Product Operations Manager - Earner Experience
About the Role
As a Senior Product Operations Manager on the Earner Team, your fundamental mission is to champion the development of globally-first products that elevate the experience of drivers, couriers, shoppers across the world.
You will focus on the Earnings & Benefits domain, specifically focusing on the \"Reflect\" phase of the earner journey. This is one of the most complex and high-stakes areas of the business. You will be responsible for ensuring that how earners access, understand, and utilize their earnings is transparent, reliable, and empowering. This strategic role requires you to navigate high ambiguity, guiding cross-functional teams from the initial stages of product conception through to global rollout, ensuring that every product decision enhances the earner's financial experience in meaningful ways.

1. Strategic Insight & Ambiguity Navigation: Utilize deep business data and market analysis to shape the team's focus on product improvements that have a broad, global impact. You will define strategy in ambiguous spaces, translating complex financial realities into intuitive product experiences that build trust with earners.
2. Global Cross-functional Leadership: Build and maintain strong collaborations with key partners across Operations, Legal, Tax, Policy, and Support departments. Because this role touches earner finances, you will lead a coalition of strategic leaders to align product innovation with global regulatory frameworks and complex business requirements.
3. Operational Architecture: Architect and refine operational processes to effectively support the execution of strategic product initiatives, specifically within the Earnings Platform and Benefits space. You will provide expert guidance on the scalability and viability of products, ensuring they meet international market demands.
4. Business Acumen & Impact: Regularly monitor and analyze key business metrics post-launch to pinpoint areas for enhancement. You must be able to articulate the business value of transparency and trust, walking stakeholders through how product changes impact specific line items on the P&L.

5. Earner Advocacy: Utilize business data and market analysis to advocate for product improvements that address specific earner needs, ensuring the \"Recognize & Reward\" experience feels valuable and authentic to users.
\-\-\-\- Basic Qualifications ----
1. Experience: Minimum six years of experience in product operations, product management, business consulting, finance, or a similar analytical role.
2. Senior Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to effectively engage with and influence cross-functional Directors and senior leadership.
3. Global Execution: Proven track record leading large and global cross-functional stakeholder teams and leading end-to-end global roll-outs.
4. Analytical Skills: Proven ability to use data to inform and support critical decisions. Experience walking through how product changes impact business lines and P&L.
5. User Centricity: Deep understanding of the user experience, specifically regarding user engagement loops and retention strategies.
\-\-\-\- Preferred Qualifications ----
1. Experience in marketplace, fintech, payment, regulated industries, or similar complex environment.
2. Track record of aligning senior stakeholders across functions and geographies.
3. Comfortable operating in high-ambiguity, high-change environments with competing priorities.
4. Quantitative or technical background is a plus.
For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$171,000 per year - USD$190,000 per year.
For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$171,000 per year - USD$190,000 per year.
For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. All full-time employees are eligible to participate in a 401(k) plan. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
