About the Role

Whether it's a late-night sandwich, the weekly grocery haul, or a last-minute makeup restock, Uber Eats delivers anything, anywhere. Uber is making a big bet to enable Grocery and Retail (GR) commerce at a global scale. We are looking for Senior Product Managers (can consider Product Manager II as well)to join our team and architect the future of how people shop their neighborhoods.

We are currently hiring for two pillars within the Grocery & Retail organization:

- Discovery & Personalization: You will pave the way for how users find what they need, moving beyond traditional grids toward generative AI-forward experiences. You'll partner with world-class scientists to turn "shopping local" into a seamless, inspiring, and hyper-personalized journey.

Your mission is to scale a loyalty platform that enables merchants to link their programs to Uber Eats, ensuring users receive maximum value and stay retained on the platform.

What the Candidate Will Do

- Define Vision & Strategy: Develop and execute the roadmap for your specific domain (Discovery or Experience), identifying near and long-term initiatives that drive GR business growth.

- Build & Launch: Translate complex user needs and operational constraints into elegant, innovative features. You will drive the creation of world-class UX across iOS, Android, and Web.

- Drive Execution: Partner closely with a cross-functional team of engineers, designers, data scientists, and user researchers to set deliverables and foster a culture of high-speed execution.

- Experiment & Analyze: Design and launch sophisticated A/B tests to analyze results, evaluate tradeoffs, and make data-driven decisions for global launches.

- Communicate & Influence: Act as the program owner for your area, crafting compelling narratives to align internal partners, executives, and external stakeholders on product plans and results.

- Scale Platforms: Whether it's a generative AI discovery layer or a merchant loyalty integration system, you will build scalable technology that influences product roadmaps company-wide.

Basic Qualifications

- Experience: Minimum 5 years of Product Management experience delivering highly successful, innovative technology products at scale.

- Education: Computer Science undergraduate (or other engineering degree equivalent) or business/management undergraduate degree.

- Data-Driven Mindset: Proven ability to leverage data and analytics to uncover user insights, diagnose funnel friction, and inform prioritization.

- Technical & Product Depth: Passion for working on machine learning and personalization-based products (Discovery) or high-growth consumer funnels and pricing models (Experience).

- Leadership: Demonstrated success working in cross-functional environments, partnering closely with design, engineering, and marketing to deliver measurable outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications

- Domain Expertise: Experience in two-sided eCommerce marketplaces or building customer-facing products with a focus on world-class UX.

- Technical Savvy: Experience utilizing machine learning to develop products or "finger-tippiness" with data-the ability to self-serve insights and whip them into a story.

- Design & Empathy: Stellar design instincts and product taste, with a deep understanding of how users make trade-offs around price, value, and choice.

- Strategic Narrative: A track record of distilling complex constraints into simple, intuitive user interfaces and communicating those trade-offs effectively to senior leadership.
