At Uber, Generative AI is becoming a foundational technology across a diverse range of product lines. It powers increasingly intelligent and personalized user experiences in areas such as product discovery & recommendations, customer support, document processing, merchant assistance, and internal developer productivity tools like coding copilots and on-call assistants.
The Applied AI team at Uber is a multidisciplinary team of ML Engineers, Applied Scientists, Backend Engineers, Mobile Engineers and AI Product Managers responsible for developing compelling AI-driven user-facing experiences, and leading innovation in Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing, Personalization & Recommendations, and Generative AI Applications-at global scale. We need a vision-driven PM to turn Gen AI breakthroughs into daily delight.

- Craft and execute bold Gen-AI products for Riders, Eaters or Drivers.
- Translate fuzzy user pain into lovable, metric-moving features.
- Partner with Eng/DS/Design to launch fast and iterate faster.
- Understand emerging AI trends and inject the best ideas into the roadmap.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of Product Management experience delivering highly technical ML products.
- Experience launching Gen AI applications or agentic systems, from initial conception to launch.
- Bachelors degree in CS/Eng. This person must be able to spar technically without blinking.
Preferred Qualifications
- Former experience as a ML Engineer or Data Scientist
- Data-driven, driving clarity, collaboration, and ruthless prioritization.
- Elite written & verbal comms; mjust be mission-aligned.
For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$190,000 per year - USD$211,000 per year.
For Sunnyvale, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$190,000 per year - USD$211,000 per year.
