Senior Operations Manager
About the Role
As a Senior Operations Manager in the Marketplace team at Uber Eats Spain, you will play a critical role in optimizing and scaling our Delivery business. This role sits at the core of our strategy to drive marketplace efficiency, improve customer, earner and merchant experience, and unlock sustainable growth.
You will own high impact marketplace initiatives, acting as a strategic problem solver who leverages data to identify opportunities, address inefficiencies, and design scalable solutions. By translating complex data into clear insights and actionable recommendations, you will help improve unit economics, service quality, and operational performance across Spain.
This is a highly visible role that collaborates cross functionally and directly influences how Uber Eats operates and grows its Delivery marketplace.
What You Will Do
1. Own marketplace performance and efficiency initiatives: Lead high impact projects focused on optimizing Delivery performance, improving reliability, and enhancing customer, earner and merchant experience across Spain
2. Leverage data to drive decisions: Analyze data using SQL and analytical tools to identify trends, root causes, risks and opportunities, translating insights into clear, actionable recommendations
3. Design and scale operational improvements: Identify structural inefficiencies and build scalable processes, experiments and playbooks that improve unit economics and overall marketplace health

4. Partner cross functionally to execute strategy: Collaborate closely with Product, Commercial, Support and other teams to implement initiatives, align priorities and measure impact
5. Define success metrics and track impact: Establish clear KPIs, monitor performance over time, and communicate results and learnings effectively to senior stakeholders
What You Will Need
- 4 to 6 years of professional experience in consulting, strategy, operations, analytics, technology, or a related field
- Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel or Google Sheets and solid working knowledge of SQL
- Proven ability to translate complex data into structured insights and clear business recommendations
- Experience leading cross functional projects in fast paced, ambiguous environments
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills in Spanish and English
Bonus Points
- Experience in marketplace, delivery, logistics, or on demand platform businesses
- Experience building dashboards, performance tracking tools, or automation solutions
- Exposure to AI driven tools or advanced analytics to improve operational efficiency
