Senior Business Operations Manager, Uber Direct
About the Role
Uber Direct is an on-demand delivery service for business customers across a range of industries - food, grocery, and pharmaceuticals. Uber Direct in India is a multi-billion-dollar opportunity, and the candidate will get an opportunity to shape the logistics story for Uber in India
As a Senior Business Operations Manager in the Uber Direct team, you will help us fuel the growth of this product category and have a measurable impact across the Indian market using a combination of strategy, planning, stakeholder management, and data-driven decision-making. You would be in charge of pricing, category management, and product experience, and would be a thought partner for leadership in scaling this category.
What the Candidate Will Do
- Problem Solving: Take end-to-end ownership of the Uber Direct P&L, pricing decisions, and incentives management.
- Growth Strategy: Collaborate with businesses/merchants to understand key gaps in experience & opportunities to scale the category across cities.
- Supply growth: Engage with key stakeholders across Regional & Central Ops Teams to improve supply quality & improve product reliability.
- Product Experience: Be a thought partner for the product team to shape the right product experience based on merchant/Earner VOC.
What the Candidate Will Need
- 4+ years of relevant experience in strategy or operations in a fast-paced start-up, scale-up, or high-growth business.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with prior experience in category P&L management and a data-driven role.
- Proficiency in data analytics & SQL for deriving business insights and taking data-backed decisions.
- Ability to manage a wide spectrum of cross-functional stakeholders. Strong business acumen and comfortable with strategic trade-offs.
