Sales & Partnerships Manager - Uber Transit

Today Stockholm, Sweden

About the Role

The Sales & Partnerships Manager role within Uber Transit is central to expanding Uber's collaboration with public transport agencies, operators, train companies, and local and regional governments. With an initial focus on either the Nordics or the UK, this position offers the opportunity to shape the future of sustainable mobility and help redefine how people move across Europe.

Uber Transit is a dedicated division within Uber focused on building partnerships that bridge public and private transport. Today, more than 100 public transit agencies across North America work with Uber Transit to reduce private car dependency by integrating shared mobility into existing transport networks. These collaborations have led to measurable increases in public transport ridership and significant reductions in operating costs.

Our ambition in Europe is equally bold. With 10 partnerships already established, we are scaling our efforts to deliver the same transformative impact seen in North America-creating more efficient, accessible, and sustainable transportation systems for all.

What the Candidate Will Do

  • Own the end-to-end sales process: From prospecting and qualifying opportunities to understanding customer needs, developing tailored Transit propositions whilst using standard Uber products, negotiating agreements, and championing long-term customer success.
  • Act with autonomy and accountability: Manage your territory like your own business - making data-driven, strategic decisions to accelerate growth, strengthen relationships, and exceed commercial targets.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally: Partner with policy, legal, operations, and product teams to ensure strategic alignment and deliver seamless, high-impact solutions that meet the needs of our public transport partners.

What the Candidate Will Need
  1. 5+ years of experience in sales or account management, ideally within the transport technology or mobility services sector, engaging with public transport agencies, operators, train companies, and local or regional governments in the Nordics or UK.
  2. Demonstrated success in building and managing strategic partnerships, with a strong track record of exceeding KPIs, revenue goals, and organisational objectives.
  3. Collaborative and strategic mindset, able to work cross-functionally and patiently while articulating Uber Transit's value proposition and fostering impactful partnerships across the public transport ecosystem.
  4. Exceptional communicator, combining clarity, empathy, and commercial acumen with a passion for problem-solving and advancing sustainable mobility.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Genuine passion for shared mobility-both public and private-and its power to improve lives, strengthen economies, and build more sustainable communities.
  • Proficient with modern sales tools and methodologies, demonstrating a strong commercial mindset and high digital fluency.
  • Driven, adaptable, and team-oriented, with the enthusiasm and resilience to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Uber's mission is to reimagine the way the world moves for the better. Here, bold ideas create real-world impact, challenges drive growth, and speed fuelds progress. What moves us, moves the world - let's move it forward, together.
