About the Role

Sales leadership at Uber means setting direction in motion, not waiting for perfect conditions. As the Sales Manager for the Czech Republic, you will navigate the messy reality of solving problems that don't come with a script while building long-term partnerships in a landscape that changes by the hour. You will lead a high-performing team of Account Executives, moving the real world by helping local restaurants grow and reimagining how people eat in their cities.

This isn't a polished, playbook-driven environment; it's high-stakes and fast-moving. You'll need to balance deep empathy for your team with the grit required to hit ambitious targets under pressure. We are looking for a leader who is resilient, resourceful, and energized by the challenge of building something impactful from the ground up. If you thrive in ambiguity and care about building systems that actually work, you'll grow here. However, if you prefer highly structured environments with predictable days and pre-defined answers, this likely isn't the right fit for you.

What You'll Do

- Build and grow long-term partnerships by deeply understanding restaurant needs in the Czech market, ensuring we deliver value beyond just a product.

- Navigate shifting priorities and internal complexity to unblock your team, resolve friction, and unlock growth opportunities for our clients.

- Coach and mentor your team with a focus on commercial coaching, boosting their skills to beat targets even when resources are tight or conditions are imperfect.

- Drive consistent execution by managing pipelines with urgency, using data to influence decisions, and ruthlessly prioritizing high-value activities over low-impact tasks.

- Lead through tension and tough conversations, staying resilient when facing "no" from stakeholders or clients and helping your team maintain momentum.

- Own the commercial strategy for your territory, making hard calls with imperfect information and carrying the weight of decisions that move the needle.

- Collaborate across disciplines-Ops, Marketing, and Product-to shape proposals and remove blockers that prevent the team from scaling.

- Set the bar for excellence by role-modeling a "go-get-it" attitude and ensuring your team maintains a high talent bar through consistent performance management.

Basic Qualifications

- Native/Business proficiency in Czech and English is mandatory for this role.

- Experience leading and coaching sales teams with a track record of managing performance and helping underperformers beat their targets.
