Research & Insights Manager II
About the Role
As Research & Insights Manager II, you will lead the strategy and operations of our in-house global tracking ecosystem. You will be the primary owner of the process and program management for our tracking tools, working in close collaboration with our Data Science team to build a world-class insights engine.
You'll be in charge of creating the infrastructure and processes that enable the broader Research & Insights team to extract meaningful signals from large data sets. Beyond program management, you will act as a lead analyst-conducting your own research based on tracking data and "connecting the dots" between sentiment trends, internal behavioral data, and custom research to influence global decisions across Marketing, Product, and Operations.
What You'll Do
- Global Program Management: Own the operational excellence of Uber's global tracking programs (Brand Health, Safety, etc.). Manage processes with Data Science to ensure data quality, consistency, and timely delivery of insights across all markets.
- Data Science Collaboration & Infrastructure: Partner deeply with Data Science and teams to optimize our tracking tools. This includes helping to define the requirements for dashboards and automated reporting pipelines that allow the business to self-serve critical metrics.
- Process Creation & Enablement: Design and implement scalable processes that enable the wider Research team to easily access, analyze, and visualize tracking data. You will be the "power user" who teaches others how to leverage these tools effectively.
- Synthesis & Strategic Analysis: Go beyond reporting numbers by conducting deep-dive analyses. You will triangulate tracking findings with internal behavioral data and other primary research to provide a holistic view of the user and identify "white space" opportunities and double click on our key initiatives.
- Global Stakeholder Impact: Deliver clear, narrative-driven insights to senior leadership across Policy, Marketing, and Product. You will ensure our tracking programs evolve to answer the most pressing business questions for both Mobility and Delivery
