You'll bring first-hand experience in fast-growth, client-facing environments, acting as a strong collaborative thought partner to both your team and senior regional stakeholders.

What you'll do:

  • Drive Regional Growth: Own your team's regional performance by inspecting pipeline health and dashboards, course-correcting quickly when shifting priorities create pressure points.
  • Navigate Complexity: Manage internal and market complexity across Greater Manchester, effectively balancing short-term targets with long-term partner health.
  • Cross-Functional Execution: Collaborate closely with Operations, Marketing, and Product teams to influence scalable solutions and eliminate friction points for our regional merchants.
  • Activate Commercial Levers: Drive the adoption of new products, marketing tools, and commercial workflows across your territory, making fast, thoughtful decisions even with imperfect data.
  • Portfolio Discipline: Manage a complex merchant portfolio with urgency and focus, ensuring team resilience through tough commercial negotiations and evolving workflows.

Who you'll be:
  • Manchester Market Expertise: Deep commercial understanding of the local Manchester and North West business ecosystem, with local insights to navigate regional market dynamics and merchant needs.
  • Commercial Leadership: 5+ years of experience in Account Management or Sales, with a proven track record of managing complex partner portfolios and handling direct customer responsibility.
  • People Development: 3+ years of dedicated people management or team leadership experience, with a demonstrated ability to coach sellers and build high-performing teams in rapid-growth environments.
  • Operational Excellence: Strong systems thinking and analytical skills; proficient in using data and CRM tools (like Salesforce) to manage pipelines, forecast accurately, and optimize commercial processes.
  • Strategic Problem Solving: A resilient, resourceful leader capable of navigating ambiguity, making high-stakes decisions under pressure, and solving multi-faceted regional challenges.
  • Cross-Functional Influence: Highly collaborative communicator skilled at aligning stakeholders across multiple functional areas to drive scalable business solutions. (Preferred: Experience in B2B tech sales or the hospitality/restaurant industry).
