About the Role

The Web Infrastructure and Intelligence team is looking for an ambitious Web Data PM to partner with the Web Data Eng team to manage source of truth analytics for Web at Uber. This role will be responsible for owning the roadmap, day-to-day projects, backlog and prioritization of projects used to measure web initiatives across every LOB (ridesharing, delivery and B2B).

---- What the Candidate Will Do ----

1. Make sure data definitions and documentation are kept up-to-date and accurate, manage communication with over 1,000+ global consumers of data
2. Drive large-scale infrastructural improvements that will improve data fidelity and scalability
3. Work across data science, web data and front-end engineers to groom data across 24+ apps and eng teams.
4. Collaborate with EMs and Mobile engineering across all our lines of business
5. Own the end-to-end product roadmap and sprint planning, driving daily prioritization for a platform processing hundreds of millions in transactions
6. Conceptualize and deploy custom and third-party AI solutions to automate repetitive processes and scale team output

---- Basic Qualifications ----

1. Business functional SQL proficiency
2. Proven, code-driven analytics experience (SQL/Python; querying data warehouses; defining metrics) not limited to point-and-click UIs (e.g., Google Analytics/Adobe Analytics).
3. Truth-seeking: you know what the blue sky vision of data is and how to get there. You think the data's job is to tell the truth, not serve any individual team
4. Must have experience in a multinational, multi-business unit corporation
5. Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
6. Experience writing tickets, product requirements and acceptance criteria for eng teams
7. Experience with marketing measurement and attribution
8. Experience with business intelligence tools like Tableau, Google Data Studio or Looker

---- Preferred Qualifications ----

1. Experience with deep linking across platforms including iOS Universal Links and Android App Links, and handling WebViews/deferred deep links
2. Experience with product analytics tools like Mixpanel or Amplitude or similar
3. Experience with logging and observability tools like Kibana, Splunk, Grafana, Data Dog

4. Experience with both web and mobile app analytics.
5. Experience with product and funnel analytics
6. Strong SQL proficiency, with working knowledge of Python or R for data mining/analysis and visualization (and a clear drive to deepen Python skills)
7. Strong interest in leveraging and learning about AI
