Partner Manager - Strategic Vertical Ads
About the Role
The Uber Advertising team is looking for a Partner Manager to join our Strategic Verticals team. As a Partner Manager, you will be establishing and strengthening key client relationships with a focus on driving revenue, client education and client satisfaction in this fast paced environment.
You will work strategically to drive value and efficiency across various stakeholders within the organisation to drive education and adoption of advertising products across our Delivery and Mobility platforms.
You will be responsible for campaign execution, account management, reporting, and will collaborate with multiple internal and external partners to bring value and build a mutually beneficial relationship.
What You'll Do
- Partner with Ad Sales teams to develop and execute ad partnership strategies that meet Strategic Vertical partners' objectives and exceed quarterly growth targets.
- Build strong relationships with key marketing decision-makers, developing a deep understanding of client goals and challenges to proactively recommend solutions.
- Own the end-to-end campaign lifecycle, including kick-off calls, campaign launches, creative best practices, performance monitoring, optimisation, troubleshooting, and reporting.
- Manage stakeholder communication throughout campaigns by providing updates, setting expectations, and navigating complex or difficult partner conversations.
- Identify opportunities to improve performance and grow investment by delivering data-backed insights, trend analysis, and upsell recommendations.
- Act as the voice of the customer by communicating partner feedback and product limitations to internal teams and international Partner Managers.
- Drive internal initiatives by supporting the team lead in building playbooks and best practices, while collaborating cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Ad Ops, and Insights & Measurement teams.
What You'll Need
- 5+ years of experience managing end-to-end advertising accounts for large/complex customers, ideally in digital advertising account management and/or sales.
- Strong knowledge of performance and brand marketing channels, ad products, and key measurement metrics.
- Proven ability to manage large-scale campaigns, partner with advertisers and agencies, and build relationships with senior marketing stakeholders.
- Strong analytical capability, with the ability to use data to identify opportunities and influence decision-makers.
- Excellent communication, organisational, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate proactivity, and navigate ambiguity.
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience).
- SQL or additional data qualifications are a plus.
