About the Role

Our UK Operations teams work where Uber's technology meets the real world. We own city-specific business outcomes and bridge our overall business strategy with local needs.

The UK Rider Operations team is responsible for developing and executing our demand growth strategy across the UK. Our projects often require cross-functional alignment, large-scale data analysis, critical thinking, and the ability to influence senior executives. If you're a self-starter with outstanding analytical skills, a strategic mindset, and a passion for partnering with internal and external stakeholders on region-wide initiatives, then this is the team for you.

What You'll Do

You will drive platform growth and user engagement across both Mobility and Delivery. You will lead and guide cross-functional collaboration across multiple lines of business and own the planning and execution of innovative growth initiatives for Membership, partnerships and cross-platform growth. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining our strong growth trajectory by optimising budgets and leveraging strategic insights to inform data-driven decisions.

  • Develop and implement robust growth strategies across our Mobility and Delivery platforms, working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and maximize impact.
  • Manage a 7-figure monthly demand-generation budget for Rides UK, with a primary focus on Membership, partnerships and cross-platform growth. Ensure optimal budget allocation and efficiency.
  • Recommend budget allocation for multiple teams, including Global CRM, Product, Performance Marketing, and Local Operations teams.
  • Sourcing, execution and ongoing management of loyalty and affiliate partnerships with external stakeholders.
  • Spearhead strategic campaigns across our owned channels (In-app, CRM, etc.) to drive user acquisition and engagement.
  • Coordinate our campaign calendar in collaboration with Marketing, Business Development, and Operations.
  • Provide insights to the Regional team and the UK Mobility Leadership team around performance metrics, budget deployment and calendar updates.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor or advanced degree in Business Analytics, Engineering, Mathematics, Marketing, Finance, Econometrics, or equivalent
  • Minimum 2-4 years of relevant experience within a similar position, having managed stakeholders and demonstrated an ability to adapt to a fast-moving working environment
  • Robust data analytics and technical skills:
  • Advanced spreadsheet modeling and data visualization (e.g. dashboarding, Google Data Studio, Tableau)
  • Intermediate/Advanced SQL - build complex tables & queries. Minimum 1 year of experience using SQL for data analysis in a professional environment
  • First-hand experience with statistical analysis and experimentation techniques
  • Clear Communicator. You are a clear and concise communicator with the ability to synthesize a lot of information quickly, highlight the important points, and turn that into action items.
  • Relationship Builder. You are able to quickly build good rapport with your stakeholders, but you are no people pleaser. You can push back when needed, without hurting the relationship

Preferred Qualifications

  • Explorer. The ability to self-start, investigate and get the required data, along with learning how to use new tools, will make you much more effective in this role. You enjoy being a self-starter with a proactive attitude.
