Operations Manager, Global Merchandising - Retail
About the Role
Uber Eats is seeking an Operations Specialist to build, execute, measure, and improve seasonal and gifting content strategies for our Retail categories.
To be successful, this role requires exceptional attention to detail, strategic planning and prioritization, and robust project management skills to effectively handle multiple simultaneous demand-growth initiatives. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment, has high ownership of their work, embraces a collaborative "all hands on deck" approach, and enjoys solving complex problems. You will partner cross-functionally with internal teams, ensuring the successful growth of our merchant partners.
What You'll Do
- Build & Execute: Implement seasonal campaigns and customer strategies that enhance visibility and demand for Retail categories globally. You'll need to follow process management and configuration steps set up by the Engineering team to ensure accurate campaign setup. Your execution will directly drive seasonal growth and consumer engagement
- Analyze & Optimize: Measure and analyze campaign performance meticulously. You will be comfortable pulling data using existing SQL queries to generate actionable insights that drive impactful improvements and share key learnings
- Project Management: Monitor seasonal project plans and drive accountability across stakeholders to ensure on-time deployment across seasonal campaigns. You will also be responsible for calendar management for the retail calendar, ensuring all key dates are tracked and communicated effectively. You will be working across and coordinating with 20+ global markets
Basic Qualifications
- Track record of owning and executing cross-functional initiatives, with strong organization, problem-solving, and time management skills
- Detail-oriented, with a demonstrated ability to consistently execute complex tasks with high accuracy
- Highly collaborative-you'll engage and mobilize multiple teams to drive execution towards shared goals
- Passionate about working at the intersection of merchandising and operations in the on-demand delivery space
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in operations, growth operations, strategy, planning, management consulting, or related roles with a strong desire to expand your skill set
- Previous experience in eCommerce, grocery, or CPG merchandising is preferred
- Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets; familiarity with SQL is highly preferred
For Chicago, IL-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$95,500 per year - USD$106,250 per year.
For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$106,000 per year - USD$118,000 per year.
For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$106,000 per year - USD$118,000 per year.
