Operations Manager, CEE
About the Role
Rider Operations in Central and Eastern Europe drives the performance and growth of Uber's core ridesharing products and bets across 10 diverse markets. The Operations Manager will own the regional portfolio of rider-facing products and strategic bets, shaping how services perform and scale, with direct impact on rider experience and business results.
What the Candidate Will Do
- Own the performance and evolution of the regional products and bets portfolio, monitoring KPIs and identifying opportunities for growth and optimization.
- Define and execute long-term strategies for products and bets, including scaling successful solutions across markets.
- Partner closely with central operations, product, and local teams to deliver campaigns, technical setups, and process improvements.
- Lead regional initiatives from concept through execution, using data and experimentation to guide decisions.
- Provide clear recommendations to senior stakeholders based on performance trends, market insights, and rider behavior.
Basic Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in operations, business analysis, strategy, product management, project management, or related roles.
- Proven ability to manage complex initiatives across multiple stakeholders and markets.
- Advanced English proficiency for daily collaboration with regional and global teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills, including experience with SQL or similar data tools.
- Experience working with product or tech teams on feature launches, experiments, or technical implementations.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to balance short-term performance with long-term growth decisions.
- Any Central or Eastern European language is a strong advantage.
