Operations & Logistics Manager, Ecuador

About the Role

We are looking for a high-impact Operations & Logistics Manager to become part of our Peru & Ecuador Local Operations team and lead the operational performance of our dynamic Ecuador market.

This role requires a combination of data analytics skills and the ability to operationalize high-leverage processes that will directly optimize a multimillion dollar business. This is a key position that will align closely with local and regional teams to drive growth initiatives and revolutionize how people move in our cities.

• Strategic Ownership: Help develop, lead, and implement strategies to achieve business priorities in Ecuador & Peru
• Business Sense: Monitor, understand, and interpret key operational and financial metrics to help figure out strategy and action plans. Develop and apply an understanding of the levers that move our business
• Problem Solving: Identify the root cause of risks and opportunities, propose multiple, practical solutions, and weigh tradeoffs to recommend best approach
• Process Optimization: Implement, optimize, and scale core analyses and processes across Ecuador, Peru, and beyond, regularly reviewing performance
• Product Improvement: Proactively search for new features or improvements that could improve the experience and efficiency of our marketplace, measure their impact, and collaborate with Product teams around the world to implement launches in Ecuador and Peru
• Stakeholder Management: Maintain productive working relationships with immediate team and cross-functional partners across operations, marketing, customer support, product, policy, and legal to scope, test and implement initiatives

• Years of Experience/Industries: 3+ years of professional experience
• Data-Driven Mentality: Make strategic decisions based on data analysis and interpretation. Experience getting in the weeds of data, balanced with the ability to see the big picture
• Proficiency in SQL: data analysis, querying, generating data insights
• Executional Excellence: Ability to work and accomplish multiple tasks in parallel, delivering results in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment, while maintaining high-quality work standards
• Communication: Spanish and English proficiency. Able to interpret and present data to various audiences in an engaging and comprehensive, yet succinct manner
• Teamwork: Demonstrate optimism, respect others, and work well in a team. Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds and responsibilities. Maintains healthy working relationships, even in disagreements
• Planning & Organization: Ability to create detailed project plans with project stages, milestones, basic interdependencies, and owners

• Experience in fast-paced and growth-driven companies, start-ups or entrepreneurship with regional or global footprint
• Strong communication skills in Spanish and English
• Strong domain of SQL
• End-to-end Operations Project Management experience
