About the Role

Uber is transforming the future of grocery & retail, building the world's best and biggest marketplace for on-demand delivery of all local commerce. As part of the Global Merchant Operations team for Grocery & Retail (GR), you will help to ensure an exceptional experience for the merchants on the Uber platform. You will support our merchants as they partner with Uber to grow their business and provide a world-class delivery experience to customers.

In this role, you will work closely with local operations and commercial teams around the globe, as well as GR leadership and product development teams. Specifically, you will be the global leader for our merchant integration strategy, ensuring we provide a magical integration experience for our merchants. The scope of this role spans integrations of all types, including catalog, point-of-sale, order fulfillment, and loyalty programs.

What You'll Do

  • Integration Strategy: Define and evolve Uber's merchant integration strategy to continuously enhance the breadth and depth of our merchant integrations, with a focus on unlocking business value for both Uber and our merchants.
  • Prioritization & Roadmapping: Own the intake and prioritization of integration requests, balancing merchant needs with Uber's strategic objectives and technical constraints
  • Program Management: Establish strong relationships across the organization and work closely with many business areas and drive cross-functional execution across product, engineering, and operations to deliver high-impact integration initiatives and scaled solutions for long-tail merchants.
  • Enablement: Build educational materials and develop the playbooks and tooling needed to promote integration best practices and adoption for our internal commercial and operations teams and external merchant partners
  • Quality Standards: Define and monitor key metrics related to the merchant's integration experience with Uber, and drive cross-functional initiatives to continuously improve them

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in business, economics, engineering, or a related field
  • 6+ years of experience in strategy, operations, finance, consulting, or a related field
  • Advanced Excel/Google Sheets and data analysis skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional stakeholder management experience and program management skills
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), to effectively engage and drive consensus across technical and non-technical audiences
  • Master's Degree in business, economics, engineering, or a related field
  • Experience in the grocery and/or retail industry
  • Intermediate/Advanced SQL skills (or ability to develop them quickly)

For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$155,000 per year - USD$172,000 per year.
