About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and strategic Site Merchandising Manager to join the Uber Grocery & Retail team. In this role, you will help shape and execute our merchandising strategy to deliver a world-class shopping experience for consumers while driving category and merchant growth.
You will own the success of seasonal campaigns and category management initiatives, partnering closely with Consumer Operations, Marketing, Product, and other cross-functional teams to elevate merchandising standards both in-app and beyond. Using data and insights, you will help create an engaging, seamless shopping journey and ensure operational excellence across all merchandising efforts.
What You'll Do
- Own local content, curation, and optimization: Build local collections, guide aisle management, curate landing pages, vertical feeds, and storefronts, and determine what goes live in your market.
- Manage and deliver high-impact campaigns: Lead the end-to-end development and execution of merchandising campaigns, managing calendars across owned categories. Ensure campaigns align with product strategy, cultural moments, and seasonal trends, while delivering merchant-specific initiatives.
- Tell the consumer story: Use performance data, consumer feedback, seasonality, and industry trends to shape the end-to-end consumer experience. Leverage insights to influence stakeholders, inform new strategies, and continuously improve the shopper journey.
- Category management: Own product assortment across categories, tailoring offerings based on insights, performance metrics, and customer demand. Partner cross-functionally to improve range, catalog quality, and overall sales performance.
